Fire Chiefs Council of Dutchess County

Please consider that all announcements are a last resort to notify your membership.  Since all announcements are dependant upon the time for non-emergency traffic at DC911, please use e-mail, phone, newsletters, etc. to notify your membership.

 

Acceptable Announcements for Fire and EMS activity:

  • Drills, OSHA, and Pathogens mandated seminars and other training sessions.
  • Equipment out of service (will be read on the out of service list at 1800)
  • Equipment being placed back into service
  • Work Details and Hose Tests
  • Funeral and Memorial services
  • Equipment Inventory
  • Operational Changes
  •         Road Closures
  •         Equipment being relocated
  •         Temporary Assignment Changes
  • Department and Association / Council meetings (Training Association, Chiefs, EMS, Districts, etc.)
  •         ONLY when they involve:
  •                 Cancellations
  •                 Change of Date, Time, or Location
  •                 Special Meetings
  • Physicals or Vaccinations
  • Special Details (not scheduled)
  • DC911 Response Divisions and Task Forces

 

Acceptable announcements will only be broadcast once.  All other announcements not listed above will not be accepted!
