A suggestion was made that through this website we set up an area where anyone can post things for others to access & borrow such as Powerpoint presentations, lesson plans, video clips, articles, pictures, phone lists, mailing lists, etc
This will be a great resource for local FD’s to post homegrown presentations on and access others shows; no sense in each department reinventing the wheel if it can be avoided. It might even help lead towards standardization!
So what I have done is create a list of Folders on the YahooGroups Website that most departments are already members of through the e-mail system.
Simply Click on the Link Below, and you will be brought to the YahooGroup Site for DCCHIEFSFDNY. Sign-in, and on the left side of the page will be a Folder entitled "FILES".
By opening "FILES", you will see folders where you can easily post your submissions, as well as see what is already there, and borrow them for your department's use if you're interested.
If you are not yet a member of the Group, click on "JOIN THE GROUP" and follow the prompts to join. Once you set up an account, you will have access to all the posted files!!
